Profile

Resourceful, commercially aware, CIS Consultant/Project Manager, with proven experience of piloting innovative CIS, SATCOM and communications projects from conceptual design – right through to successful completion and installation. Wide experience both with the development and with the procurement of complex secure communications and information systems. Experienced at adapting and applying COTS & GOTS.

Skilled at understanding clients’ problems and applying wide experience to translate clients’ requirements into practical, economic, engineering designs; formulating, agreeing and maintaining the necessary design and security, policies and documentation. Experienced at selecting and applying appropriate new technologies. Proven record of managing risk and meeting deadlines, whilst stretching technology.

Highly conversant with computers, computer security, encryption, and several computer programming languages including HTML. Experienced with LAN and WAN design, wired and wireless communications. Familiar with web design and e-commerce. Familiar with use of proprietary and open source office tools including MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, DTP and CAD. Familiar with the preparation, editing and production of digital video, digital images and digital audio.
